Short : COMPUTER GAME DEVASTRO UPDATED TO VERSION 1.5

Full press release : On June 22nd 2007 Catnap Games computer entertainment studio releases a major update to Devastro - a computer game for both Mac and PC platforms.

Devastro is a swift action-packed game in which the player controls a small squad of soldiers. The goal of the game is to protect Earth from an alien invasion of flying saucers and their numerous and hostile inhabitants. The theme of the game draws inspiration from 50s sci-fi B-movies such as „Earth vs. the Flying Saucers“ and „Forbidden Planet“.

The updated version of Devastro is what could be called a “director’s cut” version of the game, with additional content not included in the original version (released January 22nd 2007) due to development time constraints. Devastro 1.5 sports improved visual effects, new enemies, over 50 playable levels, more intuitive controls and countless other improvements, some of which are based on customer feedback. Support for language localization has also been added and the game has already been translated to Czech to showcase this feature.

From 6/22/2007 the updated version of the game will be available at http://www.catnapgames.com/games/devastro. A free limited demo version is available from the website, with the full version priced at $19.95. Existing customers receive an update of the full version with no additional charge.
