Ist eine .net Komponente zum verstecken von Daten,Texten und Dateien in Grafiken.
Da eine Grafik für sich völlig unauffällig ist, kann diese z.B per E-Mail verschickt, oder auf einer Seite im Internet bereitgestellt werden. Nur derjenige, der weiß, daß sich in dieser Grafik gespeicherte Informationen befinden, kann diese durch laden mit JR-Stegano control lib sichtbar machen.
Diese Technik, die vom Prinzip her schon lange vor dem gebrauch von Computern benutzt wurde, wird Steganographie genannt und ist schon sehr alt.
JR-Stegano unterstützt zusätzlich Kryptographie. Bei aktivierter Funktion werden alle Daten bevor diese in der Grafik versteckt werden mit einem internen Passwort verschlüsselt.
Ein Aussenstehender muß also nicht nur wissen, daß sich in der Grafik Daten befinden, er kann diese letztendlich nur auslesen, wenn er JR-Steganoax benutzt und ebenfalls die Option Kryptographie angewählt hat..
Zum Austausch von absolut vertraulichen Daten kann zur Verschlüsselung ein persönliches Passwort verwendet werden. Das Auslesen dieser Daten ist auch mit JR-Stegano control lib nur dann möglich, wenn das Passwort bekannt ist. Ein Hacken oder Entschlüsseln dieser Daten durch Ausenstehende ist nach heutigem Stand der Technik nicht möglich.
Das Steuerelement kann mit allen .net Programmiersystemen verwendet werden.

jrstegano.dll Control wurde mit Visual Studio 2003 und dem .Net Framework 1.1 compiliert.
jrsteganof2.dll Control wurde mit Visual Studio 2005 und dem .Net Framework 2 compiliert.
jrstegano.ocx wurde mit VB6 compiliert.
