Der GSA Image Analyser ist ein Programm zur Analyse von 2D-Bildern verschiedenster Art. Dazu zählt beispielsweise das Erkennen und Zählen von Objekten (Algorithmen nach Buerker, Fuchs-Rosenthal, Thoma, Schilling, Tuerk, Tennant) oder die Berechnung von Flächen. Die Bilddaten können von unterschiedlichen Quellen eingelesen werden (Datei, Scanner, Mikroskop...).
Eine Bilderzeugung mittels Eingabegerät (Grafiktablett) ist im Programm integriert und ermöglicht einen Konturenabgriff von Objekten.
Die Anwendungsgebiete für diese Software sind vielfältig. Anwendung findet es z.B. in der Zählung von markierten Zellen oder auch der Flächenberechnung von Pflanzenwurzeln (Biometrie). |
