Ein Waschechter 3D-Shooter (jetzt auch für Windows)
Vor einiger Zeit erzählte mir jemand von einer Computerspiele-Hochschule irgendwo in Übersee, und wenn die dort fertig seien, dann könnten sie in 15 Minuten einen ganzen 3D-Shooter schreiben. Viele Minuten und Wiederholungen später ging mir das auf den Geist und ich sagte: Kann ich auch.
Hier das Ergebnis:
Die Engine stand wirklich nach 15 min, aber allein das Zeichnen des Mauszeigers dauerte noch mal so lang, die SFX kamen auch noch dazu... :-)
Unter DOS liest es die Sounblasterkonfiguration aus der BLASTER= -Variablen, falls vorhanden, ansonsten benützt es die Standardwerte Port 220, Irq 5, DMA 1. Wer keine SB-kompatible Soundkarte besitzt, der hört stattdessen nichts. Ab 80386 (DOS) bzw. jeder PC mit DirectX (Windows) |
