Die Darstellung von Fotos am PC erfolgt in der Regel im Querformat, so dass Aufnahme im Hochformat generell erst manuell gedrehrt werden müssen. Viele Tools und auch die Bordoptionen von Windows selbst erledigen diese Aufgabe nicht ohne Qualitätseinbussen. JPEG Lossless Rotator erlaubt das schnelle und vor allem verlustfreie Drehen von Bildern in alle Richtungen. Das Geheimnis des Programms ist der Verzicht auf Encoding-Schritte beim Drehen in andere Bildformate (meistens BMP). Die Freeware nutzt eine Block-Tranformation, die ohne Qualitätseinbussen auskommt. Dies zusätzlich noch mit einer sehr einfach gestalteten und sehr gut bedienbaren Oberfläche.
Wer häufiger Dateien seiner Digicam auf dem PC drehen möchte, wird dieses Programm schnell zu schätzen lernen. |
